With a joint ticket, you can visit three of the exciting museums in North Sealand and avoid paying admission each time. Buy the joint ticket for Munkeruphus, Esrum Abbey, and Rudolph Tegner's Museum.
Buy a joint ticket - it pays off Visiting museums can be a heavy expense in the vacation budget. But it doesn't have to be. Buy a joint ticket for three of North Sealand's museums and have great artistic experiences without it having to cost a fortune.
You buy the ticket in the booking system on the VisitNorthsealand website. Once the ticket is purchased, you have 48 hours to visit the three museums. Remember that the 48 hours only start when you enter the first museum.
With the joint ticket, you get access to these three museums:
Munkeruphus: Visit the living artist's home, which shows changing exhibitions of contemporary art. The museum is located in a beautiful park right by the Kattegat, so your visit to the world of art can easily be combined with a walk on the beach.
Esrum Abbey: Visit the abbey, which in the Middle Ages was one of the largest and most significant in the Nordic region. See the captivating exhibition where the monks' lives are shown through sound and light installations and visit the abbey café with specialties.
Rudolph Tegner's Museum & Statue Park: Visit the museum, which echoes like a cathedral, and walk among the meter-high plaster sculptures. See how the artist Rudolph Tegner made the sketches for his enormous bronze works, which stand in Elsinore and Copenhagen.

Lørdag den 8. juni fra kl. 13-15 er vi topbegejstrede for at kunne byde indenfor til en strikke- og hækleworkshop med strikdesigner Lærke Bagger! Kom med til en to timer lang workshop, hvor Lærke Bagger tager udgangspunkt i vores aktuelle sanseudstilling FABRICA af Eva Steen Kristensen og Nikolaj Danielsen. Igennem dine strikkepinde, hæklenåle og forskellige kunstneriske benspænd skal du udfordre din egen kreativitet. Du skal lade dig undre, overraske, irritere og glædes over egne evner, mens vi sammen finder ind til kernen af den kunstneriske håndarbejdsproces. Og måske lære noget om os selv undervejs. Og så skal vi selvfølgelig snakke masser af kunst og håndarbejde. Forvent at blive udfordret og få et nyt blik på strikkens og hæklingens muligheder igennem kunsten. Lærke Bagger vil være i samtale med en af museets medarbejdere. Medbring fire sæt strikkepinde eller hæklenåle (gerne flere og i alle størrelser) og mindst 10 forskellige slags restegarn (og meget gerne flere). Vi glæder os til at se dig til en fantastisk workshop!
Når mørket sænker sig over det gamle slot, bliver fortiden levende. Fra kælder til kvist, sætter vi levende lys op for at jage skyggerne på flugt, mens vi går rundt og fortæller om de grever og grevinder, der har boet på Gram Slot og spredt skræk og rædsel blandt tjenestefolkene.
